Head of Remittance & FI

About the role

The Head of Remittance & FI leads the bank’s remittance business and manages relationships with financial institutions, acting as a strategic bridge to global partners and supporting cross‑border opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to grow remittance corridors, strengthen partnerships and expand the Non‑Resident Pakistan (NRP) and Roshan Digital Account (RDA) propositions.
• Maintain relationships with central banks, local and international financial institutions, and oversee KYC onboarding for new FI partners.
• Own the remittances P&L, annual budget, cost model and margin targets, driving revenue growth and cost efficiency.
• Negotiate and manage legal and operational documentation with counterpart banks, including Repo, ISDA and Islamic agreements.
• Coordinate with Treasury, IT/Digital, and Compliance teams to ensure pricing competitiveness, platform integration and regulatory adherence.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in a bank’s FI and remittance function.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree; master’s degree in Finance or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, FI trade, financial markets and remittance products.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and decision‑making abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
