Head of Strategy & Transformation

About the role

The Head of Strategy & Transformation will lead the end‑to‑end transformation agenda for Abbott's Established Pharmaceuticals site in Pakistan. Reporting to senior leadership, this role ensures that strategy, culture, systems, processes and people are fully aligned to achieve short‑, medium‑ and long‑term business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the site’s 3‑year strategic masterplan, defining vision, priorities, required capabilities and KPIs.
• Translate the masterplan into an integrated annual site plan with clear links to commercial objectives.
• Design and execute zero‑loss journey roadmaps, identifying loss areas, transformation levers and expected business impact.
• Embed continuous‑improvement disciplines (PDCA), performance governance and structured reporting across functions.
• Drive cultural transformation, capability building and organizational effectiveness to move from fragmented initiatives to a high‑performance system.

Required profile

• Senior leader with proven experience in strategy development and large‑scale transformation within a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.
• Strong ability to align cross‑functional teams, cascade strategic goals and ensure execution discipline.
• Demonstrated track record of fostering a zero‑loss culture and delivering sustainable operational excellence.
