Health Technician

About the role

The Health Technician will support nursing staff and physicians in delivering safe, efficient patient care at a community clinic in Islamabad. Working closely with the clinical team, you will assist with patient intake, basic procedures, and dispensary operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist nurses and physicians with patient intake, measuring vital signs, basic wound care, and specimen collection.
• Prepare, label, and dispense medications under supervision while maintaining pharmacy stock and proper storage.
• Perform routine clinical procedures and keep accurate patient records, either electronic or paper.
• Maintain infection‑control standards, clean examination rooms, and sterilize basic instruments.
• Support appointment scheduling, triage incoming patients, and provide basic follow‑up instructions.
• Monitor medical supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
