Hostel Warden (Female)

About the role

The Hostel Warden provides pastoral and intellectual guidance to students living in the hostel. She ensures a safe, clean, and disciplined environment that supports self‑learning and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an attendance register and verify resident presence at the designated time (3:00 pm).
• Plan and supervise upgrades of hostel facilities and ensure regular maintenance of property and stock.
• Enforce hostel discipline, rules, dress code, and ensure no prohibited activities such as smoking, alcohol, drugs, politics, or weapons.
• Manage housekeeping, cleanliness of common rooms, indoor games, and supervise domestic staff.
• Organise daily timetables for meals, study, sports, TV, and other activities and display them on notice boards.
• Oversee the mess committee, monitor kitchen hygiene, and ensure proper food handling and utensil return.
• Maintain records of authorized visitors, emergency contacts, and student health and safety information.
• Communicate students’ arrival and departure to parents via SMS and sign leave passes after verification.
• Promote spiritual practices such as Quran recitation and five‑time prayers, and encourage academic focus.
• Conduct regular room inspections, manage room allocations, and ensure security of the premises.

Required profile

• Female candidate with a minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in hostel or residential management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills.
• Must be from outside Faisalabad (out‑station).
• Strong ability to provide pastoral care, maintain discipline, and handle emergency situations.
