IELTS Instructor / Trainer (Hybrid, Karachi)

About the role

ABN Overseas Education is seeking a motivated IELTS Instructor / Trainer to join its team in Karachi. This hybrid internship combines on‑site classroom teaching with the flexibility to work from home, allowing you to support learners preparing for the IELTS exam.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging group and individual IELTS preparation lessons covering Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
• Create lesson plans aligned with learners' proficiency levels and test dates.
• Assign practice tests, evaluate performance, and provide detailed feedback.
• Track learner progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Stay updated on the latest IELTS format changes and assessment criteria.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to improve materials and instructional methods.

Required profile

• Strong command of English with a clear, neutral accent.
• Experience or strong interest in teaching English as a foreign language and test preparation.
• Familiarity with IELTS test structure, scoring, and common learner challenges.
• Ability to plan structured, goal‑oriented lessons for diverse proficiency levels.
• Relevant certifications such as TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or IELTS trainer certification are a plus.
• Effective time‑management skills and a professional, empathetic approach to student support.
