In-House Lawyer

About the role

Audit Alliance is seeking an In-House Lawyer to provide legal support for its audit and assurance services. Based in Islamabad, you will work closely with partners, managers, and operational teams to ensure legal compliance across client engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, engagement letters, NDAs and other legal documents.
• Assess legal risks associated with audit and assurance engagements.
• Monitor regulatory changes affecting audit, financial services and capital markets.
• Advise internal teams on compliance with relevant laws and professional standards.
• Support responses to regulatory inquiries and manage external counsel when required.
• Assist in dispute resolution and deliver training on legal and compliance topics.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial and contract law.
• Experience in regulatory compliance, especially within financial services, capital markets or PCAOB frameworks.
• Proficiency in drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); bar admission or LLM is an advantage.
• Prior in‑house experience in an audit firm or financial institution is preferred.
• Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment and commitment to ethical standards.
