Independent Attorney – Remote Contract Role

About the role

We are seeking an experienced attorney to join a remote, contract‑based team that trains next‑generation AI systems. You will apply your legal expertise to simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises, helping AI models learn to generate accurate, risk‑aware contract language across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct simulated contract negotiations and redlining tasks, evaluating AI‑generated suggestions for legal soundness.
• Review AI responses to contract scenarios and provide detailed feedback to improve model precision.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, annotation guidelines, and evaluation criteria.
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies in AI‑generated drafts and propose corrections aligned with legal standards.
• Ensure high‑quality legal input that enhances the reliability of AI‑driven contract drafting tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience drafting, reviewing, or negotiating contracts in a legal or corporate setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to assess legal risks in contract scenarios.
• Familiarity with SaaS contracts, technology transactions, and data annotation practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear legal reasoning.
