About the role
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Child Aid Association is seeking a qualified Intensivist Consultant to deliver high‑quality intensive care to critically ill children. This full‑time, on‑site position in Karachi involves direct patient management, multidisciplinary coordination and rapid emergency response.
Key responsibilities
- Provide intensive care services to pediatric patients in the PICU.
- Manage critically ill children, oversee treatment plans and monitor progress.
- Participate in clinical rounds, perform procedures, and respond to emergencies.
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and other hospital departments.
- Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards in patient care.
Required profile
- MBBS with FCPS in Pediatrics or Pediatric Oncology.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in pediatrics and intensive care.
- Hands‑on experience working in a PICU setting.
