About the role

Our client Siddiqsons Industries (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a diligent Internal Auditor – Retail Compliance Specialist to join their Karachi team. The role focuses on evaluating financial records and internal controls across retail locations, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform risk assessments to identify financial and operational vulnerabilities.
• Develop and execute audit plans based on risk evaluation and company priorities.
• Analyse financial statements and records for accuracy and compliance.
• Review the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Conduct on‑site audits at retail outlets and corporate offices.
• Prepare clear audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.
• Coordinate with management to address audit issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor follow‑up activities to ensure recommendations are implemented.
• Support external auditors by providing required documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of hands‑on auditing experience.
• Educational background in commerce or accountancy (B.Com, Inter CA, Inter CMA, or completed articleship).
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
