Investment Analyst

About the role

The Investment Analyst will join a team of Associates and Analysts, reporting to a Senior Investment Analyst or Investment Associate. This early‑career position (1‑3 years of experience) supports international clients such as venture capital firms, multi‑family offices, and institutional investors, primarily in the GCC region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare investment memos, pitch decks, and materials for the Investment Committee.
• Conduct valuation analysis using DCF, comparables, and precedent transaction methodologies.
• Develop financial models and perform sensitivity/scenario analysis.
• Support formulation of investment recommendations based on research and modelling.
• Perform in‑depth industry and company research to underpin investment theses.
• Track macroeconomic developments, financial news, and sector‑specific trends.
• Participate in post‑acquisition monitoring of portfolio companies.
• Compile and summarize findings in high‑impact internal and client reports.
• Engage directly with clients or their representatives to clarify data and refine deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline from a top‑tier university (Master's preferred).
• CFA certification (completed or in progress).
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in investment research, financial services or consulting.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
• Experience with financial databases for market and company data.
