Invoice Control Executive

About the role

The Invoice Control Executive is responsible for ensuring accurate processing of supplier invoices, matching them to purchase orders and goods receipts, and resolving any discrepancies. This role works closely with buyers, the Goods Receipt Department (GRD), and suppliers to maintain smooth financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Post all types of invoices into the system.
• Prepare both automatic and manual invoice matching.
• Perform line‑by‑line checks of non‑matching invoices and raise queries to buyers (price differences) and GRD (quantity differences).
• Review responses from buyers and GRD, issue debit notes, and dispatch difference advice notifications.
• Return incorrect supplier invoices and conduct weekly reconciliations with suppliers.
• Meet with suppliers to discuss invoice issues and unblock orders for GRD delivery corrections.
• Coordinate regular meetings with buyers and GRD to address ongoing price and quantity concerns.
• Undertake any additional assignments as required by line management.

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Business Administration or a related field from an HEC‑recognized university.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable/receivable or invoice processing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting practices and procedures.
• Ability to manage complex accounting tasks efficiently.
• Experience handling client billing activities.
