iOS Architect – Remote Contractor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced iOS Architect to join a leading AI company on a contract basis. You will design, develop, and maintain high‑performance iOS applications that feed real‑world data into next‑generation AI models across finance, healthcare, and engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance iOS applications following best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, scalable, and well‑documented code to ensure long‑term maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to optimise app performance and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold high coding standards.

Required profile

• Proficiency in iOS development with Swift and Objective‑C.
• Strong understanding of mobile app development principles, design patterns and architecture.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to debug complex issues.
• Effective communication skills for technical discussions and project updates.
