Islamic Pool Management & Financial Reporting Manager

About the role

The incumbent will lead the Islamic Pool Management and Financial Reporting function for easypaisa’s Digital Islamic Banking business. This senior, analytical position ensures that Mudarabah investment pools are administered in line with Shariah principles, regulatory requirements, and internal policies while delivering accurate financial and regulatory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Administer end‑to‑end Mudarabah investment pools, including structuring, maintenance, income allocation and profit distribution.
• Perform profit calculations, set profit rates, validate system‑generated distributions and conduct profitability simulations.
• Prepare and review Islamic Banking financial statements, management reports, pool disclosures and profit distribution schedules.
• Ensure timely, accurate regulatory returns to the State Bank of Pakistan and other authorities.
• Support the accounting close process: ledger integrity, reconciliations, audit coordination and policy review.
• Own the pool management and reporting systems – define requirements, support implementation, conduct UAT and drive automation and data‑integrity improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, external auditors, the Resident Shariah Board Member and regulators.
• Execute any tasks assigned by the Head of Financial Reporting, CFO or Head of Islamic Banking.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with deep understanding of Islamic finance and Shariah compliance.
• Proven experience in Mudarabah pool management, profit distribution and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of Pakistani banking regulations and State Bank of Pakistan reporting requirements.
• Experience in coordinating audits and managing general‑ledger processes.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with finance, technology and compliance teams.
