IT Support Officer – Production Floor (Sialkot)

About the role

We are seeking an IT Support Officer to assist in maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure of our production units in Sialkot. The role is ideal for a recent graduate with basic IT knowledge who wants to develop skills in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You will work under senior team members to ensure network uptime, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and support production floor systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring firewalls, Wi‑Fi access points, LAN and WAN connectivity.
• Help maintain 99.9% uptime on production floor networks under supervision.
• Support basic VLAN, subnetting and VPN configurations and report ISP link issues.
• Perform routine checks on Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP) and Linux servers.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and printer issues on production terminals and floor PCs.
• Assist in managing Active Directory users and permissions.
• Review basic firewall logs and report anomalies.
• Help implement backup and recovery procedures for production data.
• Assist in troubleshooting ERP client issues on the production floor and coordinate with senior staff and vendors.
• Respond to basic IT tickets (printers, scanners, machine connectivity) and maintain IT asset inventory.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (mandatory).
• Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, Wi‑Fi and basic firewall concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP) and Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS).
• Basic hardware, software and printer troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with ERP modules such as inventory and production.
• Willingness to learn, teamwork, good communication and ability to work under supervision.
