IT Systems and Network Administrator

About the role

You will be the sole IT administrator for a rapidly scaling UK food brand group, responsible for Mac devices, Mosyle MDM, Google Workspace and the office network. Reporting to the Head of Tech, you will handle day‑to‑day support and drive lasting improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full device lifecycle: purchase, inventory, enrolment, setup, allocation, repairs, off‑boarding, secure erasure and disposal.
• Administer Mosyle MDM and Apple Business Manager, including policies, app deployment, macOS updates, encryption and compliance.
• Resolve everyday Mac, software, connectivity and peripheral issues, keeping staff informed.
• Monitor and improve UniFi gateways, access points, switches, dual internet links, VPNs, firewalls and guest networks.
• Manage CCTV via UniFi Protect and other office IT equipment.
• Administer Google Workspace accounts, groups, permissions and licences with consistent onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Maintain MFA, FileVault encryption, endpoint protection, patching and conduct security investigations.

Required profile

• Around three years of relevant IT administration experience (flexible).
• Strong macOS troubleshooting skills and understanding of device enrolment and security policies.
• Experience with Mosyle or comparable Apple MDM.
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace administration.
• Solid networking fundamentals: Wi‑Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, firewalls and VPNs.
• Methodical troubleshooting approach, clear communication and ability to document procedures.
