IT Systems & Infrastructure Support Officer

About the role

The IT Systems & Infrastructure Support Officer provides day‑to‑day technical assistance to users, offices and customers while supporting the broader IT infrastructure team. The role focuses on Windows, Linux, networking, VPN and basic server administration.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑ and second‑level support for Windows desktops, laptops, printers and applications.
• Configure and maintain user workstations, manage Microsoft 365/Entra ID accounts and troubleshoot LAN/Wi‑Fi connectivity.
• Perform basic administration of RHEL/Linux servers, including user/group management, permission handling and SSH access.
• Monitor server health (CPU, memory, disk, filesystem) and conduct routine health checks.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN and firewall issues, and coordinate with network/security teams for complex incidents.
• Support FTP/SFTP connectivity, backup activities for email and OneDrive, and assist with data recovery.
• Maintain IT asset records, follow change and incident procedures, and document technical guides.
• Participate in on‑call or after‑hours support as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on IT support or system administration experience.
• Practical experience troubleshooting Windows environments and networking; Linux/RHEL experience preferred.
