Item Setup Specialist

About the role

NIQ is looking for a highly detail‑oriented Item Setup Specialist to join its Product Content Operations team. In this position you will create, enrich, manage and maintain high‑quality product content across major retail, distribution and eCommerce platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, Staples, Wayfair and D&H.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire, extract, validate and manage product content according to SOPs, business rules and customer requirements.
• Research, collect and enrich product information using manufacturer websites, catalogs and data sheets.
• Source, validate and upload high‑resolution product images and digital assets while meeting retailer standards.
• Create and maintain accurate product descriptions, specifications, attributes and marketing copy across multiple platforms.
• Ensure product content complies with quality, formatting and compliance requirements of major marketplaces.
• Perform advanced internet research to fill content gaps and resolve missing information.
• Communicate with customers, manufacturers, vendors and partners via email and phone to obtain required data.
• Respond to product‑content inquiries and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet deadlines.
• Manage medium to high‑complexity item setup and enrichment activities with minimal supervision.
• Monitor workloads, achieve productivity and turnaround‑time targets, and identify process‑improvement opportunities.

Required skills

• Experience with Amazon Marketplace product listings.
