Java Engineer – Spring Boot (Onsite)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Java Engineer with deep expertise in Spring Boot to join a fast‑growing team in Lahore. You will design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services that handle heavy transaction loads, working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Build robust, versioned RESTful APIs with proper validation and error handling.
• Implement Clean Architecture principles and modular layered patterns.
• Design and optimise MySQL schemas, queries, and indexing; manage schema versioning with Liquibase.
• Implement caching with Redis and asynchronous workflows with RabbitMQ.
• Ensure security using Spring Security and maintain logging, monitoring, and auditing.
• Work with Docker, Docker Compose and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and support production deployments.

Required profile

• 3+ years of backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of REST API design, MySQL optimisation, and database migration tools.
• Hands‑on experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, Docker, and CI/CD concepts.
• Solid understanding of concurrency, scalability, and system performance.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with frontend, QA, mobile, and DevOps teams.
