Java Software Engineer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is seeking a Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to high‑impact projects for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications and backend services.
• Write clean, efficient code following Java best practices and coding standards.
• Build and integrate APIs, microservices, and database systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of object‑oriented programming, design patterns, and software development principles.
• Experience with Spring Framework or similar Java frameworks.
• Familiarity with database technologies and API development.
• Understanding of testing methodologies.
• Advanced level of English.
