Jewelry Designer

About the role

MIDRA is seeking a remote Jewelry Designer to create original concepts for fine and fashion jewelry collections. You will translate creative ideas into detailed technical specifications and CAD models that align with the brand’s sustainable and timeless aesthetic.

Key responsibilities

• Sketch and draw design concepts to communicate ideas clearly.
• Develop detailed technical specifications for production.
• Use CAD software to model and render jewelry pieces for prototyping.
• Collaborate with product and production teams to ensure wearability, sustainability, and manufacturability.
• Research trends, materials, and techniques to inform new collections.
• Continuously improve design processes to maintain high‑quality, long‑lasting pieces.

Required profile

• Strong jewelry and fashion jewelry design experience.
• Proficiency in drawing and visual sketching.
• Experience in product design and translating ideas into production‑ready specifications.
• Hands‑on ability with CAD tools for jewelry modeling and rendering.
• Attention to detail, knowledge of materials, finishes, and sustainable design practices.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage deadlines and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Prior experience in fine jewelry or accessories design is highly beneficial; formal design training preferred.
