Junior Accountant (Remote, ACCA Qualified)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our remote finance services team. The position is ideal for an ACCA affiliate or recently qualified professional seeking to fulfil their Practical Experience Requirement while working with international clients across the US, UK, Europe and the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and review bookkeeping records for international clients.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including bank reconciliations and balance‑sheet schedules.
• Perform variance analysis and contribute to management reporting and MIS packs.
• Help with VAT, tax filings and jurisdiction‑specific compliance work.
• Assist senior team members with financial analysis, forecasting, due‑diligence and valuation projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams serving global clients and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Required profile

• ACCA qualified (affiliate) or part‑qualified (final stage).
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple client assignments and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Advanced Excel skills – formulas, pivot tables and basic financial analysis.
