Junior Audit Officer (UK Audit Focus)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Audit Officer to support audit engagements for UK‑based clients. The role offers the opportunity to develop practical audit skills while working closely with senior auditors in a dynamic accounting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing audit assignments for UK clients.
• Prepare and maintain audit working papers and related documentation.
• Review financial statements, invoices and supporting records for accuracy.
• Perform bank reconciliations and verify account balances.
• Support risk assessment and internal control reviews.
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS and auditing standards.
• Coordinate with clients to obtain required audit evidence.
• Help seniors and managers with audit reporting and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (ACCA, CA Inter preferred).
• 6 months to 2 years of experience in audit or accounting, preferably with UK clients.
• Strong analytical, communication and time‑management abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
