Junior Counsel

About the role

The Junior Counsel will support the legal team in drafting, reviewing and managing contracts while providing legal advice to internal stakeholders. This position offers exposure to a wide range of legal matters across business functions and regulatory environments.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and finalize agreements, contracts and other legal documents to protect the company’s rights.
• Assist in managing the contracts repository and implementing a contract life‑cycle management system.
• Communicate and negotiate with business units, regulators, external counsel and public authorities.
• Apply risk‑management techniques and provide proactive advice on potential legal issues.
• Clarify legal language and specifications for non‑legal teams.
• Monitor legislative and case‑law changes and brief counsel on relevant updates.
• Support investigations and the Business Integrity program in Pakistan.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law.
• Relevant experience in the legal sector.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
