Junior Developer – Remote (Pakistan)

About the role

Next Match AI LLC is looking for a motivated Junior Developer to join its globally distributed engineering team. Working 100% remotely from Pakistan, you will collaborate with senior architects and the Abu Dhabi innovation hub to build and maintain core HR API services and user‑facing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, testable code for responsive front‑end interfaces and back‑end logic.
• Assist in maintaining and documenting core HR API integrations.
• Identify, debug, and resolve front‑end layout issues and server‑side script errors.
• Write and optimise basic SQL/NoSQL queries and support senior engineers with data management.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation, API logs, and deployment workflows.

Required profile

• 1+ years of professional software development experience, internship, or a strong portfolio of full‑stack web applications.
• Hands‑on exposure to modern front‑end tools (JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Vue) and back‑end environments (Node.js, Python or equivalent).
• Fundamental understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and version control (Git/GitHub).
• Analytical mindset with a desire to learn cloud architectures under senior mentorship.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills for remote collaboration.
