Junior Financial Analyst

About the role

The Junior Financial Analyst will support core accounting and financial operations for multiple operating companies within Banyan Canopy Group. Working in‑office in Karachi, the role aligns with global teams by operating from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM PKT and follows US GAAP reporting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end close activities, including journal entries and financial reporting under US GAAP.
• Prepare and maintain balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Process and review general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable transactions.
• Support day‑to‑day accounting operations across assigned entities.
• Assist audit processes and ensure proper documentation.
• Track and report cash flow, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting data.
• Perform variance analysis with guidance from senior team members.
• Prepare recurring and ad‑hoc financial reports.
• Support integration of newly acquired companies, including reconciliations and process alignment.
• Assist in preparing basic acquisition accounting schedules.

Required profile

• Junior‑level candidate comfortable working with US GAAP.
• Willingness to work the specified shift (2:00 PM‑10:00 PM PKT) to coordinate with global teams.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
