Junior IoT & Telematics Technical Support Engineer

About the role

BoxTech is seeking a Junior IoT & Telematics Technical Support Engineer to configure, test and integrate GPS tracking and IoT devices for its customers. You will work closely with hardware manufacturers, software teams and end‑users to deliver reliable telematics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, test and integrate GPS trackers, IoT hardware and related devices.
• Connect devices to telematics platforms, servers and customer systems.
• Provide technical support for device, SIM, APN, connectivity and protocol issues.
• Analyse device logs, commands and communication data to troubleshoot problems.
• Prepare technical proposals, wiring diagrams and configuration guides.
• Support product testing, proof‑of‑concept projects and customer trials.

Required profile

• Practical experience with GPS trackers, telematics devices or IoT hardware.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, MQTT, APIs and device protocols.
• Knowledge of GSM, LTE, GNSS, SIM cards and APN configuration.
• Excellent technical troubleshooting and customer communication skills.
