Junior Legal Counsel

About the role

IDR is seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join its legal department. In this role you will support senior legal professionals and cross‑functional teams by providing practical legal guidance, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and assisting with global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist internal stakeholders with legal advice on contracts, employment matters, compliance, and corporate governance, focusing on Pakistani labor law.
• Draft, review, and revise contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, and other legal documents to align with company policies.
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes, maintain compliance documentation, and support policy updates.
• Maintain corporate legal records, prepare resolutions, and organize governance documentation.
• Conduct legal research, prepare summaries, reports, and internal legal opinions.
• Support employment‑related documentation, review employment agreements, and assist with onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Coordinate documentation and communication for litigation and dispute matters, including preparation of legal notices.
• Assist in protecting intellectual property such as trademarks and copyrights.
• Identify and escalate potential legal and compliance risks to senior counsel.

Required profile

• Junior‑level professional with a willingness to learn and support senior legal counsel.
• Interest or experience in Pakistani employment and labor law.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple legal tasks.
