Junior SQA Engineer - AI

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our AI‑focused team. You will help design, implement, and execute both manual and automated tests for AI/ML models and related pipelines, ensuring high quality and reliability of our restaurant‑tech platform.

Key responsibilities

• Validate AI/ML model outputs against ground‑truth data, business requirements, and test cases.
• Design test scenarios for edge cases, out‑of‑distribution data, and adversarial inputs.
• Monitor latency, throughput, and memory usage of AI pipelines; identify bottlenecks and work with engineers to improve performance.
• Conduct stress, load, and scalability testing for deployed AI systems.
• Develop and maintain manual and automated test suites for AI workflows, APIs, and endpoints.
• Document test cases, results, known model limitations, and quality metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
• 6 months to 2 years of experience as an AI QA Engineer or ML/AI tester.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as PyTest or unit test.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
