Key Account Manager - MT Central

About the role

National Foods Limited is seeking a dedicated Key Account Manager for the Modern Trade (MT) Central region. The role focuses on managing key distributors and IMT customers, ensuring sales targets are met in line with the company’s modern trade strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for the allocated Modern Trade region to meet revenue targets.
• Collaborate with the Regional Key Account Manager to cascade and achieve regional revenue goals.
• Work with Territory Sales Managers and Marketing to define route‑to‑market strategies.
• Track spend versus budget, reporting variances and taking corrective actions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with retail operators and distributors.
• Identify underserved markets and expand NFL’s presence using market intelligence.
• Negotiate pricing and sales agreements with distributors and monitor contract compliance.
• Provide training and guidance to Territory Sales Managers to ensure adherence to policies.

Required profile

• Graduate degree (any discipline).
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in key account or modern trade sales.
