Key Account Manager - Trade OOS

About the role

Metro Pakistan is looking for a Key Account Manager for its trade OOS business, based at the Canal Store in Thokar Niaz Baig, Lahore. The role is full time and focuses on building strong relationships with key customers, driving sales and managing the customer portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for the defined segments.
• Understand customer requirements, local market trends and the company offer to identify and respond to opportunities and deliver solutions.
• Be accountable for the customer portfolio: customer engagement, sales execution, credit management, follow-up on commitments, establishing customer needs, compliant handling and acting on feedback.
• Manage a team of Order Bookers and build relationships with cross-functional teams such as procurement and operations to create initiatives and customised solutions.
• Prepare a sound business case using commercial tools to attract customers according to their needs and expectations.
• Identify opportunities for quality and customer service improvement, act on customer dissatisfaction and recognise inadequate quality.
• Take a methodical, consistent approach to customer service and build knowledge of customer needs from interactions and behaviour.
• Take part in team meetings and sales training sessions and contribute to a high-performance sales culture.
• Identify the business potential of prospective customers and build professional relationships through personal visits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or intermediate level qualification.
• Good market knowledge of customers, competitors and suppliers to deal effectively with competition.
