Lab Analyst

About the role

You will support analytical testing activities at GSK's Pakistan laboratory, ensuring product quality and safety. Working closely with laboratory, production and quality teams, you will gain hands‑on experience in a GMP‑compliant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform testing of raw materials, intermediates and finished products according to IFS and TM, record data in LIMS and SAP, and dispose of samples after release.
• Generate and maintain raw data sheets, calculation sheets, summary sheets and electronically signed reports.
• Operate analytical instruments, calibrate balances, prepare laboratory solutions and maintain reference samples.
• Support cleaning and cross‑contamination studies, report LIRs, OOS and atypical results following quality procedures.
• Participate in EHS, fire safety and GMP‑compliant housekeeping activities.
• Maintain departmental document lists, manage document inventory and coordinate revisions with owners.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharm‑D or related life‑science field (16 years of education).
• At least 2 years of laboratory experience in quality control or analytical testing; fresh graduates with practical lab experience are also welcome.
• Practical knowledge of titration, spectrophotometry, HPLC, GC and basic microbiology methods.
• Familiarity with LIMS, SAP or similar enterprise systems for sample tracking and reporting.
• Basic understanding of GMP, quality systems and data‑integrity principles.
