Laboratory Technician

About the role

The Laboratory Technician will work full‑time on‑site at our Abbottabad facility, supporting the daily operations of a diagnostic laboratory. You will operate and maintain a range of laboratory equipment, prepare patient samples, and carry out routine diagnostic tests following established protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, calibrate and perform basic maintenance on laboratory instruments.
• Prepare, label and process biological samples for testing.
• Conduct routine diagnostic assays and record results accurately.
• Assist in validation of diagnostic kits and support quality‑control activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow laboratory safety and infection‑control procedures.
• Document test outcomes, identify discrepancies and communicate findings to senior staff.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in medical laboratory technology, biosciences or a related field (preferred).
• Experience or training as a laboratory technician, preferably in a medical or diagnostic setting.
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively.
