Language Instructor – Urdu & English

About the role

Centurious Services Pakistan is seeking qualified Language Instructors for Urdu and/or English to provide language training to U.S. Embassy staff in Islamabad. Instructors will work with adult learners across proficiency levels from Survival to Advanced, delivering both in‑person and virtual sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑on‑one and small‑group lessons (1‑6 students) in Urdu and/or English.
• Conduct baseline and periodic proficiency assessments.
• Track and document student progress by lesson module.
• Provide bi‑weekly counseling for all students and weekly counseling for at‑risk learners.
• Develop individualized training plans to address skill gaps.
• Prepare and use approved course materials aligned with NFATC proficiency descriptions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Urdu, English, linguistics, education or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience teaching adult learners.
• Professional working‑level English proficiency (Level III).
• Ability to obtain U.S. Embassy security clearance.
• Two professional references.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• InPage (required for Urdu instruction).
• Experience with virtual platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and Skype.

• Full‑time permanent contract (Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑4:30 PM).
• Competitive salary of PKR 125,000‑150,000 per month.
