Lead Architect – Network & Security

About the role

The Lead Architect – Network & Security is the design authority for all network and security work delivered by Jazz Enterprise Solutions' systems integration team. Based in Karachi, the role oversees design, standards and technical quality for data‑centre fabrics, enterprise WAN/SD‑WAN, firewalls, NAC and secure edge services across enterprise, financial and public‑sector customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own reference architectures, design standards and technical patterns, keeping them aligned with OEM roadmaps.
• Produce and review high‑level and low‑level designs, migration/rollback plans and as‑built records, and sign off every design before implementation.
• Lead complex end‑to‑end implementations such as data‑centre fabric builds, WAN/SD‑WAN rollouts, firewall migrations and NAC deployments.
• Act as Tier 3/4 escalation point, lead root‑cause analysis and ensure smooth hand‑over to managed services with complete documentation.
• Manage and develop the network and security engineering team, maintain a skills matrix and drive certification depth.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and delivering large‑scale network and security solutions for enterprise, financial services or public‑sector clients.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, allocate work, and ensure adherence to design standards.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and audit requirements, especially those of the State Bank of Pakistan.
