Lead HSE – Environment, Social & Governance

About the role

The ESG Coordinator supports planning, execution and reporting of Environmental, Social and Governance initiatives across Descon Engineering’s Industrial Services Division, ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability strategy, Pakistani regulations and international frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, consolidate and validate ESG data (energy, water, waste, emissions) from project sites.
• Prepare periodic ESG and sustainability reports and dashboards for internal review and corporate disclosure.
• Monitor compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, environmental approvals and client ESG/HSE codes.
• Coordinate with HSE teams to close non‑conformances, audit findings and corrective actions.
• Act as liaison between Industrial Services, corporate Sustainability, clients and external auditors, supporting regulator engagement and ESG awareness sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, QHSE or regulatory compliance, preferably in EPC or oil & gas projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
