Lead Instructor, QA Automation & SDET Engineering

About the role

Edversity is launching a 12‑week, 72‑hour live QA Automation & SDET Engineering program and seeks an experienced industry practitioner to lead it. The Lead Instructor will guide learners from junior QA roles to advanced positions such as AI Quality Engineer, delivering hands‑on technical sessions and mentoring capstone projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver three live technical sessions per week, using live coding, debugging, and demonstrations.
• Review student code, GitHub repositories, pull requests, and technical assignments.
• Mentor students on building production‑grade test automation frameworks, API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and quality‑engineering best practices.
• Conduct framework reviews, technical defence sessions, and capstone guidance.
• Help students troubleshoot flaky tests, automation failures, and framework design issues.
• Introduce AI‑assisted coding tools and techniques for testing AI‑powered applications.
• Prepare students for technical interviews and identify high‑performing graduates for internships or employer referrals.

Required profile

• Seasoned practitioner who has built automation frameworks and debugged failing pipelines.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams, reviewing test code, and ensuring production‑level quality.
• Ability to teach complex concepts through live coding and practical exercises.
• Comfortable working alongside a full‑time engineering role.
