Lead Platform Engineer

About the role

The ideal candidate will work closely with architecture, infrastructure, platform, and application teams to deliver scalable, secure, highly available, and production‑ready AI solutions. This role focuses on building and operating AI platforms across multiple locations in Pakistan.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage Langfuse, NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails, MCP Servers, and MCP Gateway.
• Implement AI security, governance, compliance, and access‑management controls.
• Integrate AI platforms with enterprise applications, REST APIs, microservices, and backend systems.
• Manage containerised deployments using Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift and CI/CD pipelines.
• Configure and support PostgreSQL, Redis and other shared platform services.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for platform delivery.
• Ensure platform monitoring, logging, high availability, backup and disaster‑recovery capabilities.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible.
• Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams and operational runbooks.
• Provide troubleshooting, platform support and guidance for production environments.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering or Application Integration.
• Technical lead‑level expertise in OpenShift/Kubernetes, Linux, containerisation, CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
• Strong experience with databases, caching technologies, networking, security and enterprise platform operations.
• Proven track record deploying, managing and supporting enterprise applications in production.
• Experience in highly regulated environments, preferably banking or financial services.
