Legal Consultant – Remote AI Project

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Consultant to work remotely on a contractor basis, providing real‑world legal expertise to train advanced AI systems. Your knowledge of corporate law, litigation, and regulatory compliance will directly influence how AI models reason about legal matters across sectors such as finance, healthcare, and engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts to optimise outcomes while mitigating legal and financial risk.
• Conduct in‑depth legal research and case analysis, delivering actionable insights for decision‑making.
• Support litigation and dispute resolution by preparing and reviewing documentation and assisting counsel.
• Assess regulatory compliance and perform due diligence for corporate transactions, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Design system prompts and evaluation rubrics that improve AI accuracy in legal reasoning.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate law, contract negotiation, or regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability in legal research, risk assessment, and dispute resolution within a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality, ethics, and professional standards in legal practice and data handling.
• Capability to translate complex legal principles into structured prompts for AI systems.
• Experience with due‑diligence processes, especially for mergers, acquisitions, or high‑risk transactions.
• Familiarity with legal documentation preparation and litigation support workflows.
