Legal Counsel

About the role

Fasset is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its growing legal team. You will work on a variety of contractual and regulatory matters supporting a fintech platform that operates across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, redline and negotiate NDAs, vendor agreements, SaaS/tech contracts, marketing and partnership agreements.
• Provide product and commercial legal support for exchange, OTC and platform initiatives, including review of product flows, feature launches and customer‑facing terms.
• Maintain and update customer terms, platform terms, OTC agreements, risk disclosures and privacy notices.
• Conduct first‑pass legal reviews for cross‑functional requests from Compliance, Product, Operations, Finance and Sales.
• Support regulatory and compliance initiatives by coordinating responses, preparing supporting material and tracking deliverables.
• Perform legal research on crypto/fintech regulatory developments, cross‑border issues and sanctions/AML queries.
• Manage contract lifecycle hygiene: maintain trackers, assist with approvals, monitor renewal dates and organise document repositories.
• Assist with disputes, risk management tasks and corporate housekeeping as needed.

Required profile

• 1–4 years post‑qualification legal experience (or equivalent relevant experience).
• Prior in‑house legal experience, preferably within crypto, virtual assets, fintech or financial services.
• Exposure to crypto exchanges, digital‑asset platforms or regulated financial‑services businesses.
