About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Expert to support a leading technology client in the gig‑economy space. Working remotely, you will guide the development of compliant micro‑tasking and freelance platform policies, ensuring alignment with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and update terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
• Identify and advise on legal risks related to data privacy, labor standards, and cross‑border transactions.
• Mitigate intellectual property disputes and support dispute‑resolution processes.
• Provide legal counsel for user disputes and platform‑related inquiries.
• Monitor evolving regulations affecting gig‑economy platforms and recommend proactive measures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review and drafting for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy frameworks such as GDPR or CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities in legal contexts.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts for non‑legal stakeholders.
