About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Legal Expert to support a leading technology platform that connects freelancers and micro‑task workers. This remote position involves guiding the company through complex regulatory landscapes, ensuring that its policies and operations comply with local and international laws.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
• Identify and advise on legal risks related to micro‑tasking, data privacy, and labor regulations.
• Assess cross‑border transaction issues and mitigate intellectual‑property disputes.
• Provide legal support for user disputes and platform‑related inquiries.
• Monitor evolving gig‑economy regulations and keep the team informed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review and drafting for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy frameworks such as GDPR or CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities in legal contexts.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
