Legal Expert – Remote Part‑Time (Microtasking Platforms)

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Expert to work remotely on a part‑time basis, providing guidance for a leading microtasking and freelance platform. You will help ensure the platform’s policies and operations comply with local and international laws while supporting dispute resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft terms of service, privacy policies, and user agreements for legal compliance.
• Identify and advise on legal risks related to data privacy, labor regulations, and cross‑border transactions.
• Assess intellectual property issues and mitigate related disputes.
• Support the handling of user disputes and respond to platform‑related legal inquiries.
• Monitor evolving regulations affecting gig‑economy platforms and update internal policies accordingly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in contract review and drafting for digital platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy laws such as GDPR or CCPA.
• Familiarity with labor laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities in legal contexts.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
