About the role
The Aga Khan Foundation (Pakistan) seeks a Logistics and Inventory Coordinator to support its helicopter operations. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent will work closely with licensed engineers, pilots and the Safety Manager to ensure efficient inventory control, customs clearance and fleet logistics for spare parts and tools.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare purchase orders for spare parts, tools and equipment and place orders with approved suppliers.
- Receive shipments, inspect against purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices, and record movements in the Total Management System (TMS).
- Organize warehouse space to maximise safety, traceability and accessibility of items.
- Conduct regular physical audits, reconcile inventory discrepancies and maintain safety standards.
- Identify aircraft part numbers and serial numbers accurately.
- Plan and schedule inbound and outbound transportation routes for spare parts and calibration tools.
- Liaise with customs clearing agents, track shipments, resolve delays or documentation errors, and prepare all required customs paperwork.
- Continuously optimise the logistics system for spare parts and tool calibration within the helicopter operation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration.
- Medical fitness as required by the organization.
- Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse operations or logistics coordination.
- Familiarity with aircraft parts identification and customs procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with technical teams.
