M&A Attorney (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified M&A Attorney to join a leading global technology firm on a contract basis. The position is fully remote and offers an hourly rate of $80‑$105, allowing you to provide legal expertise for high‑impact mergers and acquisitions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate merger and acquisition agreements, including purchase, asset purchase, and stock purchase agreements.
• Conduct comprehensive due‑diligence investigations on target entities and identify legal risks.
• Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and securities law matters related to M&A transactions.
• Collaborate with finance, tax, and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction execution.
• Maintain transaction documentation that meets legal standards and mitigates liabilities.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in a state bar with at least three years of experience in M&A transactions.
• Proven experience with domestic and cross‑border M&A deals.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex legal documents.
