Maintenance Engineer – Kabirwala Factory

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer will ensure reliable, safe and cost‑effective operation of all plant equipment and utilities at the Kabirwala factory. The role focuses on preventive, corrective and improvement maintenance to drive asset reliability and support production performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned stoppages.
• Lead and coach the maintenance team while ensuring safety compliance.
• Manage maintenance tools, spare parts and technical stores.
• Monitor maintenance budgets and control costs.
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure standards compliance.
• Support installation, commissioning and improvement projects.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Procurement and contractors.

Required profile

• B.Sc. Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related).
• 1‑3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in food/FMCG.
• Experience with TPM or preventive maintenance systems.
• Team supervision experience.
• Basic project and budget management knowledge.
