Management Accountant – Hybrid (Karachi)

About the role

HAS International is seeking a Management Accountant to join its vertically integrated textile group. This full‑time hybrid role is based in Karachi and supports the financial management of salvage, trading and manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyse monthly management accounts, financial statements, budgets and forecasts for the group’s textile activities.
• Monitor accruals, pre‑payments and provisions, ensuring accurate cost allocation across business units.
• Track cost drivers in salvage, trading and manufacturing, delivering variance analysis and profitability reports to senior leadership.
• Support internal controls, assist with audit and compliance activities, and collaborate with operations to ensure correct costing, inventory valuation and margin reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements, reporting automation and data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation.

Required profile

• Strong accounting and finance background with experience in management and cost accounting.
• Proficiency in preparing and interpreting income statements, balance sheets and cash‑flow statements.
• Solid knowledge of accruals, pre‑payments and related accounting adjustments.
• Advanced analytical abilities and experience in variance analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business; professional certifications (ACCA, CIMA, CA) are a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment and effective communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, textiles or supply‑chain environments is preferred.
