Manager Business Finance – Enabling Functions

About the role

The Business Finance Manager for Enabling Functions will act as both Financial Controller and Finance Business Partner for key support areas such as IT, Cyber‑security, Real Estate, Civil, Legal and HR. The role ensures that budgets, investments and costs are aligned with corporate strategy and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cost‑control for all Enabling Functions.
• Prepare and monitor investment plans, capex/revex approvals and feasibility studies.
• Review contracts, negotiate terms and identify risk areas.
• Provide financial inputs for strategic decision‑making and regulatory compliance (e.g., NEPRA).
• Manage internal, external and regulator audits, ensuring timely closure of accruals and expense entries.
• Consolidate reporting across Enabling Functions and allocate support costs to core Generation, Transmission and Distribution units.
• Drive process improvements, policy compliance and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Business Partner in a large organization.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, investment planning and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with IT, legal, HR and other support teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on risk identification.
