Manager Environmental & Social Risk Management

About the role

The Bank is seeking a Manager to lead its Environmental & Social (E&S) Risk Management function within the Risk Management Group. The role involves implementing risk policies, assessing credit portfolios, and providing green advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Implement E&S risk policies, frameworks, roadmaps, strategies and targets of the Bank.
• Conduct and report E&S risk assessments of the credit portfolio and support credit proposals.
• Develop and present E&S risk reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide green advisory services to the Bank and its obligors.
• Collaborate with other Bank functions to ensure implementation of E&S risk policies and procedures.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of relevant experience.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, MBA or related field from an HEC‑recognized university.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and make decisions.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of IFRS S1 & S2, SASB, GRI, TCFD, TNFD, GHG Protocol.
• Understanding of national and international E&S laws, policies and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with green financing, green bonds, social impact bonds and sustainable equity strategies.
• Ability to analyse large datasets to measure carbon footprints and evaluate E&S risks.
