About the role
The position is based in Karachi and reports to the Head of Special Asset Management at Al Baraka Bank. It is responsible for overseeing non‑performing asset (NPA) settlement approvals, legal case monitoring and recovery of outstanding dues.
Key responsibilities
- Manage NPA settlement approvals and recover outstanding ABPL dues.
- Monitor legal cases, court hearings and follow up with law firms.
- Negotiate out‑of‑court settlements with defaulters.
- Maintain MIS, credit files and records for transferred accounts.
- Support the Head of Special Asset Management in resolving problematic accounts and departmental matters.
- Undertake any other duties as required by the bank.
