Manager Procurement - Promotional Material

About the role

The incumbent will be responsible for leading and managing the end‑to‑end procurement of pharmaceutical promotional materials, ensuring timely availability, cost optimisation, quality compliance, and alignment with marketing strategies while adhering to regulatory and company standards. This position ensures seamless execution of marketing initiatives by guaranteeing timely availability of high‑quality promotional materials, directly impacting brand visibility, market competitiveness, and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sourcing and procurement of promotional materials including giveaways, printed items, and event/activation tools, ensuring timely availability aligned with marketing plans and product launches.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for promotional materials; develop strategic partnerships, monitor performance, and conduct periodic audits.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives through negotiation and strategic sourcing, optimise spend, and collaborate with finance and marketing on budgets.
• Collaborate with marketing, Regulatory/QA/Legal, and Finance teams to align procurement plans with business and brand strategies.
• Ensure all materials comply with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, maintain SOPs and audit readiness.
• Support visibility planning, maintain inventory control, and minimise stockouts and excess inventory.
• Lead process improvements and digitalisation, develop procurement dashboards and KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain (MBA preferred).
• 5‑8 years of procurement experience in the pharma sector, specifically promotional procurement, printing, and event management.
• Strong negotiation and commercial insight, project management, stakeholder management, analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance standards.
• Prior work experience in the pharmaceutical industry is essential.
